Welcome to MPerioPrepCourse. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the MPerioPrepCourse website, courses, educational materials, mock examinations, digital resources, communication channels and related services.

By accessing our website, enrolling in a course, purchasing a service, accessing educational materials or otherwise using MPerioPrepCourse services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, you should not use or purchase our services.

1. About MPerioPrepCourse

MPerioPrepCourse is an independent educational and examination preparation platform providing training and learning resources for dentists preparing for specialist-level periodontology examinations.

Our services may include preparation relating to examinations such as:

  • MPerio;
  • FPerio;
  • Dental Specialty Fellowship Examinations (DSFE) in Periodontics;
  • Royal College periodontology examinations; and
  • other relevant specialist dental examinations.

MPerioPrepCourse provides independent educational preparation and is not an examination-awarding body.

2. Independent Status

MPerioPrepCourse is an independent examination preparation provider.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, MPerioPrepCourse is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or officially connected with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Royal College of Surgeons of England, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, Dental Specialty Fellowship Examinations (DSFE), General Dental Council, or any other examination, regulatory or professional authority.

References to examinations, institutions, qualifications and organizations are made for educational and descriptive purposes.

All relevant names, trademarks and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

3. Educational Purpose

All courses, lectures, revision notes, MCQs, SBA questions, viva training, clinical case discussions, mock examinations, videos and other resources provided by MPerioPrepCourse are intended for educational and examination preparation purposes only.

Our resources should not be regarded as:

  • official examination materials;
  • official Royal College guidance;
  • a replacement for official examination regulations;
  • professional regulatory advice;
  • individualized clinical advice; or
  • a guarantee of examination success.

Candidates should always consult the relevant official examination authority for current regulations and requirements.

4. Examination Information

MPerioPrepCourse makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information concerning examination formats, eligibility, application procedures, dates, fees, curricula, syllabi and assessment requirements.

However, examination authorities may change their:

  • regulations;
  • eligibility requirements;
  • examination formats;
  • curricula;
  • syllabi;
  • fees;
  • dates;
  • venues;
  • assessment methods; or
  • other requirements

without notice to MPerioPrepCourse.

Candidates are responsible for verifying important examination information directly with the relevant official examination authority.

5. Course Enrolment

Course enrolment is subject to:

  • course availability;
  • payment of applicable fees;
  • compliance with these Terms & Conditions; and
  • any additional requirements communicated before enrolment.

MPerioPrepCourse reserves the right to limit course numbers, close enrolment or change the availability of a program where reasonably necessary.

6. Course Content

Depending on the program selected, course content may include:

  • structured revision;
  • educational notes;
  • MCQs and SBA questions;
  • viva preparation;
  • clinical structured oral preparation;
  • clinical case discussions;
  • diagnosis and treatment-planning exercises;
  • mock examinations;
  • examination strategies;
  • recorded or live teaching sessions;
  • feedback and performance analysis; and
  • other educational resources.

The exact content varies according to the course purchased.

Candidates should review the relevant course description or contact MPerioPrepCourse before enrolment if clarification is required.

7. Course Duration and Access

Course duration and access periods may vary according to the program purchased.

Access to digital resources, recorded sessions, notes, question banks or other materials may be limited to a specified period.

Where an access period is specified at the time of enrolment, access may automatically expire at the end of that period.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, purchasing a course does not provide permanent or lifetime access to MPerioPrepCourse materials.

8. Candidate Responsibility

Candidates remain responsible for their own examination preparation and performance.

Enrolment in MPerioPrepCourse does not replace:

  • independent study;
  • clinical experience;
  • reading of appropriate textbooks and literature;
  • review of official curricula and examination guidance; or
  • compliance with examination eligibility and application requirements.

Each candidate is responsible for determining whether they meet the requirements to enter a particular examination.

9. No Guarantee of Examination Success

MPerioPrepCourse aims to provide high-quality examination preparation; however, no examination result can be guaranteed.

Success depends on numerous factors, including the candidate’s:

  • prior knowledge;
  • clinical experience;
  • preparation;
  • participation;
  • independent study;
  • examination performance; and
  • circumstances on the examination day.

Testimonials, historical pass rates, candidate results and success stories represent previous experiences and do not guarantee that future candidates will achieve similar results.

10. Mock Examinations

Mock examinations are designed for educational assessment and preparation.

They are intended to:

  • simulate aspects of specialist examination standards;
  • identify areas of strength and weakness;
  • develop examination technique;
  • improve clinical reasoning; and
  • provide educational feedback.

A candidate’s performance in a mock examination does not predict or guarantee their performance in an official examination.

MPerioPrepCourse mock examinations are independent educational assessments and should not be interpreted as official Royal College or DSFE examinations.

11. Original Educational Content

MPerioPrepCourse may develop its own:

  • revision materials;
  • MCQs;
  • SBA questions;
  • viva questions;
  • clinical scenarios;
  • mock examinations;
  • summaries;
  • diagrams;
  • presentations;
  • teaching materials; and
  • other educational content.

Unless expressly identified otherwise, these resources are independently developed educational materials and are not official examination questions or confidential examination material.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all original content provided through MPerioPrepCourse is owned by or licensed to MPerioPrepCourse and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

This includes, where applicable:

  • course notes;
  • PDFs;
  • question banks;
  • MCQs and SBA questions;
  • viva materials;
  • clinical cases;
  • mock examinations;
  • presentations;
  • diagrams;
  • videos;
  • recordings;
  • website content;
  • graphics;
  • course structures; and
  • other educational resources.

Purchasing or accessing a course grants the candidate a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the materials for their own educational purposes.

Ownership is not transferred to the candidate.

13. Prohibited Sharing and Distribution

Candidates must not, without prior written permission:

  • copy course materials for distribution;
  • share PDFs or digital resources with another person;
  • upload materials to websites or cloud-sharing platforms;
  • publish materials on social media;
  • sell or resell course resources;
  • distribute question banks;
  • share account credentials;
  • reproduce mock examinations;
  • create unauthorized copies;
  • commercially exploit course materials; or
  • provide MPerioPrepCourse materials to another training provider.

Unauthorized distribution may result in immediate termination of access and may lead to further action where appropriate.

14. Recording of Teaching Sessions

Candidates may not record, reproduce, screenshot, screen-record, download or distribute live or recorded teaching sessions unless MPerioPrepCourse expressly permits it.

Where recordings are provided by MPerioPrepCourse, they remain subject to the intellectual property and access restrictions contained in these Terms.

15. Account and Access Security

Where candidates receive individual login credentials or protected access to educational materials, those credentials are intended only for the registered candidate.

Candidates must not:

  • share usernames or passwords;
  • permit another person to access their account;
  • circumvent access restrictions;
  • attempt to bypass digital rights management or security controls; or
  • access materials through unauthorized methods.

MPerioPrepCourse may suspend access where there is reasonable evidence of unauthorized sharing or misuse.

16. Fees and Payments

Course fees will be communicated before enrolment or displayed on the relevant course or payment page where applicable.

Candidates are responsible for:

  • paying the stated course fee;
  • providing accurate payment information;
  • completing payment through approved payment methods; and
  • paying any applicable bank, currency-conversion or payment-processing charges unless otherwise stated.

Course access may be withheld until required payment has been received.

17. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility, where applicable, depends on the nature of the course or service purchased and the circumstances of cancellation.

Because certain services include immediate access to digital educational materials, question banks, recordings or other proprietary resources, refund rights may be limited once access has been provided, subject to applicable consumer law.

Any specific refund or cancellation conditions communicated at the time of purchase will form part of these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude any mandatory refund or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Important: I recommend that you create a specific written Refund & Cancellation Policy before accepting online payments. This section can then link directly to it.

18. Course Changes

MPerioPrepCourse may reasonably modify:

  • course schedules;
  • teaching dates;
  • instructors;
  • session timing;
  • course content;
  • educational resources;
  • delivery methods; or
  • assessment arrangements

where necessary to improve the program, respond to examination changes, or address circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where a material change affects enrolled candidates, reasonable efforts will be made to communicate it.

19. Candidate Conduct

Candidates are expected to communicate and participate professionally.

MPerioPrepCourse reserves the right to restrict or terminate access where a user engages in serious misconduct, including:

  • harassment;
  • abusive or threatening behaviour;
  • academic dishonesty;
  • unauthorized sharing of materials;
  • deliberate disruption of teaching;
  • impersonation;
  • fraudulent activity; or
  • misuse of the platform or its resources.

20. Clinical and Professional Disclaimer

Educational discussions may include clinical scenarios, diagnoses, investigations, procedures, treatment planning, medications, complications and patient management.

Such information is provided for educational purposes and should not be treated as individualized clinical advice for a particular patient.

Dentists remain responsible for exercising their own professional judgement and practising within their competence, professional regulations and applicable clinical standards.

21. Third-Party Resources and External Links

MPerioPrepCourse may provide links to:

  • Royal Colleges;
  • DSFE;
  • regulatory authorities;

  • educational resources;
  • social-media platforms;
  • YouTube;
  • payment providers; and
  • other third-party websites.

MPerioPrepCourse does not control independent third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, policies or services.

22. Testimonials and Results

Candidate testimonials, reviews, WhatsApp messages, examination experiences and results may be displayed with appropriate permission where required.

Testimonials reflect individual experiences.

They should not be interpreted as:

  • guarantees of examination success;
  • promises of particular results; or
  • evidence that every candidate will achieve comparable outcomes.

Any published performance statistics should be interpreted according to the population and period to which they relate.

23. Website Availability

We aim to keep the MPerioPrepCourse website and digital services accessible; however, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

Temporary interruption may occur because of:

  • maintenance;
  • updates;
  • hosting problems;
  • internet failures;
  • security incidents;
  • third-party service failures; or
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MPerioPrepCourse will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on educational content, examination outcomes, changes made by examination authorities, third-party services or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.

25. Privacy

Personal information collected through the website or our services is handled in accordance with the MPerioPrepCourse Privacy Policy.

Candidates should review the Privacy Policy to understand how personal information may be collected, used, stored and protected.

26. Changes to These Terms

MPerioPrepCourse may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in:

  • services;
  • course delivery;
  • technology;
  • examination arrangements;
  • business practices; or
  • applicable legal requirements.

The current version will be published on the website with the latest revision date.

Material changes affecting existing paid services should be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable law.

27. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

28. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions will be governed by the laws of [INSERT GOVERNING COUNTRY/JURISDICTION], subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to individual users.
